Enough is Enough just release the names of the MLB players who have taken steroids!!!!

Will this steroid use ever stop or will we be calling them junkies?

I know i said i wouldnt be back until sunday night after the SuperBowl but there is an issue that is continuing out there that is bothering me. This past week an article in the latest Sports Illustrated a PED company is clamining to have provided steroids to certain baseball players and as well as other athletes in other sports including in the collegiate level. Those names that have been released are some of the best baseball players that are currently in the game. There names are Melky Cabrera, Alex Rodriguez, Bartolo Colon, Nelson Cruz, Gio Gonzalez, and Yasmani Grandal. Some of these players are there playmakers and are aces of there pitching staff which causes major concern because of the year they had last year. Gio Gonzalez had an incredible year last year which now will be tainted because of these acqusations against him of taking steriods. I think last years showing was fishy because nearly every start he was unhittable which is impossible to do every single start in a 162 game season. His stats where very sketchy because of how many strikeouts and how his ERA was so low. Now when he comes back next season everyone is going to be paying close attention to him because of the report that has come out involving him. I think he needs to come out and tell the truth so people could possibly forgive him because it is going to be hard for others to trust him. I think he has a long way to go before people are going to forget this.

With Melky, A-Rod, and Nelson Cruz being accused of taking steriods this is the same boat that all these players are going to face which is being trusted by thier teammates and especially thier fans. Last season Melky, and Nelson were having thier best seasons until one of them got caught right after the All Star break where he won the game MVP. He was suspended 50 games after the test came back positive for taking an illegal susbstance. He wasnt heard of after that because the San Franscio Giants didnt want this problem on there hands. When the playoffs had begun he was kept off the roster which ended up leading them to the title without him being on the team. He know is playing for the Toronto Blue Jays which should be interesting because many would like to see how he plays. I dont think he is going to have an impact on the team he is going to be mediocre player like when he played for the Yankees. Nelson Cruz who the Texas Rangers will dpend on more with the depature of Josh Hamilton is going to be looked at different just like Melky. He an outbreak season last year before things ended up bad at the end for him. He decreased his strikeouts and increased his walks which is impressive but something has to be up. Alex Rodriguez on the other hand should be never trusted again because of all the lying he has done. I am a Yankee fan  and after hearing about this i want him out of town and dont want to see him in pinstripes next season. The yankees are now trying to void his contract in anyway they can but with the new collective bargining agreement the yankees likely have no shot in making this disappear. It seems the only reason he was here is to have him on the team and have him break the records in which he was going after. His records in my opinion including his statsistics are tainted because for an second time in less then a couple of years he is being accused of taking steriods. I think he has lost alot of respect from many players who are legends of the game or are currently playing. I think the Yankees are hiding something because of how they arent really commenting about this. Maybe they knew about it and wanted to keep quiet. The best solution i would give the yankees is to let him go and part ways because he hasnt done much in helping the Yankees during the playoffs except for the year they won the World Series.

The sport of baseball i believe is completely tainted that no one will be able to accomplish a milestone without someone saying something. People are going to continue come out with these reports of players taking illegal substances which is hurtful and very frustrating because of how hard other players to just be able to reach the level of the other athletes around the league. I dont understand why they couldnt be like how the league was back then when players played hard each night to try to out the person on the team they played for or against the other team. From the stories i hear from my father i wish i was able to see how the teams were back then. I am a former ball player that really wishes this never happened and would go away but i know it will never disappear because it just shows the way people are. The reason i feel they do this is because of them trying to get the upperhand against the other team. They should just try to play for themseleves and appreciate the game for what it is and the love they have for it.
